OUR STORY

Our firm’s founding director, Mr. P.C. Payne obtained a LLB and LLM Degree from the North-West University Potchefstroom Campus in 2012 and thereafter completed his two years of articles at Strydom & Bredenkamp Incorporated. Thereafter he was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 2015. After his admission, he practiced at Leahy Attorneys as a professional assistant until the registration of our firm in April 2019, based in Johannesburg.

Our firm’s other director, Mr. H. Steynberg obtained his LLB Degree from the University of South Africa in 2017 whilst he had attended to his articles from 2015 until 2017 in the employ of Strydom& Bredenkamp Incorporated, shortly thereafter he was admitted as an attorney in October 2017. After admission, he practised at Strydom & Bredenkamp Incorporated as a professional assistant until October 2018 when he took up employment as SD Nel Attorneys as an Associate. Mr. Steynbergthen opened his own practice, Steynberg Law Inc in January 2021, which was based in Pretoria.

Our directors practiced in association through their respective firms from January 2021 until them having elected to merge the respective firms in early 2023 with offices in Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Both our directors have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fields of insolvency law, corporate and commercial litigation and general and commercial disputes having rendered legal services, with emphasis on litigious matters, to large corporate clients throughout all major Courts across the Republic of South Africa.
