Our fast-growing firm with competent and experienced Directors and support staff is a well-established small insolvency and commercial litigation law firm, with offices in Pretoria and Johannesburg, that can assist with any legal dispute through our network of associates, in any Court in the Republic of South Africa. We are a new-generation law firm that renders niche and tailored legal services to large corporate clients who require constant and committed progress on their matters whilst being kept updated on progress. We ensure that each client’s individual needs and requirements in such respect is met and we constantly adapt our approach to meet our client’s requirements. We tender to render a full range of recovery, insolvency, corporate and commercial litigation services. 

Our firm’s founding director, Mr. P.C. Payne obtained a LLB and LLM Degree from the North-West University Potchefstroom Campus in 2012 and thereafter completed his two years of articles in Pretoria at a leading insolvency and litigation firm. Thereafter he was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 2015. After his admission, he practiced as a professional assistant until registration of our firm in April 2019, based in Johannesburg.

Our firm’s other director, Mr. H. Steynberg obtained his LLB Degree from the University of South Africa in 2017 whilst he had attended to his
articles from 2015 until 2017 in Pretoria, shortly thereafter he was admitted as an attorney in October 2017. After admission he practised as a professional assistant until October 2018 when he took up employment at another firm as an Associate. Mr. Steynberg then opened his own practice, Steynberg Law Inc in January 2021, which was based in Pretoria.

Our directors practiced in association through their respective firms from January 2021 until them having elected to merge the respective firms in early 2023 with offices in Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Both our directors have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fields of insolvency law, corporate and commercial litigation and general and commercial disputes having rendered legal services, with emphasis on litigious matters, to large corporate clients throughout all major Courts across the Republic of South Africa.
